Your role in the Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party and the contribution that you make towards its development and successes is limitless; DRP is truly a people’s party!  There are many ways to make a difference, and to ensure that the strident progress of the past quarter-century is sustained and accelerated.

1. As the vision of DRP is to be in the forefront of the newly-introduced pluralist democratic system of governance in the Maldives and to achieve continued advancement, modernization and improved standards of living, you can contribute to the Party’s future success by voting-in DRP-endorsed members to elected office in future multiparty elections.
    
2. Your vote counts, but your cooperation, assistance and involvement is the impetus upon which the Party’s aspirations are founded on.  As such, signing-up as a registered member of DRP is the key to remaining well-informed on Party activities, campaigns and programmes, as well as playing your part in driving forward your Party.
    
3. DRP’s ambitious programmes and visionary blueprints for national development and prosperity cannot be successfully implemented without the dedication and hard work of its members.  Becoming a DRP activist is easy and fulfilling!  There are many important areas in which members can contribute to their Party.  Whatever your talent, expertise or passion maybe, DRP has a role for you, so do not hesitate to make it known to your Party that you care.
    
4. DRP also paves the way to enhance your knowledge on the sweeping democratic reform agenda of the Government, and provides its members with the opportunity to learn more about multiparty politics.
